Missing Crystal Lake Teen Found Safe: UPDATE

Charity Parker had been missing since Friday. Police said she has been found and is safe.

UPDATE: Charity Parker, a 15-year-old Crystal Lake girl reported missing over the weekend, has been found safe, police said Monday morning. The teen is safe and will soon be reunited with her family, according to authorities. An investigation into the incident remains active, police said, but no more details were immediately available.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - The Crystal Lake Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a 15-year-old Crystal Lake girl who is missing. Charity Parker was last seen at her home in the 1300 block of Mulberry Lane in Crystal Lake Friday night, police said. Authorities do not suspect Charity's disappearance was the result of foul play.

"The Crystal Lake Police Department has since actively and aggressively investigated the circumstances surrounding her unexpected departure from her home," according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Police Department.

The Crystal Lake Police Department is currently pursuing several leads as they search for Charity.

Family members described Charity as being 5-feet tall and weighing about 128 pounds. She has fair skin, blue eyes, and blond hair.
