The top vote-getter was Riverlands Brewing Company at 1860 Dean Street, Unit A, in St. Charles. It is followed by the patio at Villa Verone Ristorante Italiano, 416 Hamilton St., Geneva.

In particular, the Dean Street IPA got the thumbs up from a couple readers.
"The patio offers plenty of seating during daytime and evening hours with plenty of umbrellas for shade and lights for ambiance when the sun goes down," according to one reader's review. "This brewery offers up several events and activities throughout the week and although the real star of the show is the house made beers, they do offer up non alcoholic drinks options, unique snacks and host food trucks so you can either grab a meal on your way or on the premises to enjoy with your beverage."
