OUT & ABOUT for Lunch at Lambs Farm (JULY 25, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm)

Libertyville, IL

Join us for lunch at Lambs Farm. Lambs Farm is a working farm staffed by people with developmental disabilities. You will have the opportunity to check out their bakery, pet store, and walk the ground of the farm. Fee is for transportation, lunch is on your own at their delicious restaurant.

White Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays & Bingo (August 2, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm)

Let us take you to the ball game! The Chicago White Sox are hosting an exciting afternoon of food, fun, bingo and baseball! 2 hour pre-game all you can eat buffet, bingo on the patio and game ticket on lower level.

The Crystal Lake Park District bus will shuttle you to the Barrington Park District where we will catch the motor coach.

Kenny & Dolly Together Again at White Pines (August 11, 10 am-4:30pm)

It’s been 25 years since Kenny and Dolly toured as a duo and their doppelgangers Dave Karl and Wendy T are together once again at the Pines to recreate the incredible songs of Kenny and Dolly’s “Real Love” tour. Their tribute act has it all! Enjoy a home-cooked buffet, non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. Travel is by Park District bus.

Registration deadline is July 25 (spaces permitting).

Sterne’s Woods/Wingate Wagon Ride (August 18, 10 am- Noon)

Back by popular demand! Join us for a guided wagon ride tour of the Sterne’s Woods Fen area. John Fiorina, CLPD Manager of Natural Resources, will lead this tour and teach us about the rich history, restoration efforts, and flora and fauna of this spectacular area. Water bottle and snack provided on this 2-hour tour. This tour requires being able to step up on the wagon. Registration Deadline is August 12th
