Storms are expected to developed Sunday afternoon and increase in coverage into the evening while gradually shifting to the south, according to the National Weather Service.
The thunderstorms could be capable of very heavy rainfall with possible flash flooding, damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and quarter-sized hail.
