Skillicorn & Cassidy to Host Bipartisan Town Hall on Cannabis

EAST DUNDEE – State Representative Allen Skillicorn (R-East Dundee) and State Representative Kelly Cassidy (D-Chicago) are partnering to host a bipartisan discussion about cannabis legalization legislation. The town hall event will be held at the Woodstock Opera House from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 25th.

“The prospect of cannabis legalization is a loaded topic for people on all sides of the issue,” said Skillicorn. “That’s exactly what this town hall is about. To have an open and honest discussion that welcomes all viewpoints and provide information about the proposals being discussed in Springfield.”

As Skillicorn noted, the town hall will provide information about what is being proposed in Springfield to legalize cannabis, as well as welcome discussion from residents about it. All viewpoints are welcome.
