Stolen Car Crashes Into 3 Vehicles, 2 Homes In Crystal Lake: Police
The Crystal Lake Police Department is still looking for the suspects involved in the early Monday collisions.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A stolen car crashed into three vehicles and two houses in Crystal Lake early Monday before the driver and passengers in the vehicle fled on foot.
The Crystal Lake Police Department first attempted to pull the black Chrysler 200 sedan over while it was traveling west on Route 176 near Commerce Drive at about 12:10 a.m. Monday, according to a news release. The Chrysler did not stop and fled the area.
The officer did not pursue the vehicle, and moments later, the Chrysler crashed into a home in the 0 to 100 block of Lincoln Parkway, according to authorities.

Authorities later learned the car, which was reported stolen from Beloit, Wisconsin, was headed south on Lincoln Parkway near Woodstock Street when it went off the roadway and caused several collisions, crashing into three vehicles and two houses, according to the news release.
No one was injured, and Lincoln Parkway was shut down for two hours as authorities investigated the incident.

Authorities are continued to investigate the incident, and still searching for the suspects.
