Suburban Therapy Center Abruptly Shuts Down

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A suburban therapy center in Libertyville abruptly shut down, leaving families and employees seeking answers, according to NBC Chicago.

The closure involved Mobile Therapy Centers of America, which provided services for children with developmental needs in clinics, schools and daycares. Parents and workers said they received an email notifying them the center would permanently close, and they are now calling for an investigation into the decision.

Many families say they are left scrambling for care, with some children facing delays in restarting critical therapy services.
