Summer Moon Coffee Now Open In Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Summer Moon Coffee has opened its first Illinois location in Crystal Lake.
Emily and Jesse Moffitt are the owners of the new store, which opened on Jan. 7.
“My husband Jesse and I have always wanted to own our own business. It has been a dream of ours for many years. Summer Moon Coffee allows us to make this dream a reality and presents us with a chance to have a positive impact on the local community," Emily Moffitt said.

The Texas-based company serves up coffee made from organic coffee beans that are roasted over an open flame in a brick roaster.
"We love the culture of Summer Moon, treating our customers and employees like family, and making someone's day a little brighter with our amazing Oak Roasted Coffee and Moon Milk," said Emily Moffitt.

The coffee shop opened in the Pingree Shopping Center, which includes Mario Tricoci Salon and Corporate America Family Credit Union. Located at 625 Cog Circle, Unit D, Summer Moon Coffee has a drive-thru, free wifi and outdoor seating.
Abantu Arts Fusion formerly occupied the space that Summer Moon moved into, Heather Maieritsch, economic development manager, told Patch in an email response last month.
