Suspected Mumps Case Reported at Mundelein School
A suspected mumps case was also recently reported at an Evanston school.
School officials say a 12-year-old boy from Fremont Middle School in Mundelein was diagnosed with the mumps, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The school was contacted about the boy's diagnosis on May 1 and the boy returned to school Monday, according to the article. The Chicago Tribune reports no other children have been reported with the mumps within District 79.
