Teen Cited After Running Car Into Business: Police
The collision happened along Route 14 in Crystal Lake last week.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — No one was injured when a car crashed into a business along Route 14 in Crystal Lake last week, authorities said. A 2018 Chevrolet Colorado was headed east on Route 14 when it crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic, hit two parked vehicles and ultimately ran into the building and rear door of 372 W. Virginia Street, Crystal Lake Police Sgt. Dan Porzezinski told Patch. The collision happened at about 5 p.m. on May 27.
The driver, Govanni Armocida, 17, of South Barrington, was not injured. The two parked cars and the building sustained minor damage, according to Porzezinski.
Armocida was cited for improper lane usage.
