Teen In Critical Condition After Being Rescued From Lake Michigan
The teen was swimming in a channel with friends in Waukegan when the incident occurred Sunday, authorities said.
WAUKEGAN, IL — A teen was hospitalized in critical condition after being rescued from Lake Michigan in Waukegan on Sunday, according to reports.
Emergency crews responded to Waukegan Harbor and Waukegan Municpal Beach after receiving a call for a water rescue, according to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner. Friends of the teen were swimming with the teen in a channel when he did not come back out of the water.
Emergency crews found the teen water and the teen was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition as of Monday, according to the news report.
