Title Boxing Hosting 'One Billion Rising' Dance Tonight
Valentine's Day event, part of a worldwide movement taking place Feb. 14, aims to raise awareness regarding violence against women. Title Boxing dance will benefit Turning Point.
Title Boxing Club in Crystal Lake is hosting, "One Billion Rising," a dancing event meant to encourage people to rise up against violence towards women.
Dancing will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Title Boxing Club, 435 Angela Ln., Crystal Lake (facing Randall Road).

"One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime," said in a press release. "One billion women violated is an atrocity. One billion dancing is a revolution!"
There is a $5 entry fee, which will be donated to Turning Point of McHenry County. Turning Point is a domestic violence agency that provides services and programs to help women and children in McHenry County, Illinois.

Title Boxing Club opened in November 2012 in a 7,800 square-foot facilty previously occupied by Cardinal Fitness (by the Fire Bar & Grill). The club has 61 heavy boxing bags, and offers cardio boxing classes touted as the "hottest fitness concept sweeping the nation."
