TLC Announces 2020 Amateur Nature Photo Contest

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) is accepting photographers for the 2020 Art of the Land Amateur Photography Contest.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) is accepting photographers for the 2020 Art of the Land Amateur Photography Contest. The contest is open to photographers who make less than $2000 from their work each year, and highlights the natural landscapes found throughout the county.

Only original photographs from TLC sites will be accepted for the contest, and each photographer will be assigned a site to shoot. Photographers may submit up to three photos for $10. An additional three photos can be submitted by each photographer for $10 more. Photographs can be mailed or dropped off to TLC’s office at 4622 Dean St., Woodstock, IL.

Photographs will be judged and displayed at the 2020 Art of the Land art show and fundraiser Nov. 13 and 14 at The Starline Factory in Harvard. A total of eight cash prizes will be given to winners, the first place award being $100.
