Top Local Skiers to Represent U.S. in Olympics

How unlikely to find five top level national skiers from the suburbs in the outlying flatlands of Chicago - nonetheless from a ski club tucked in the small hamlet of Fox River Grove!

U.S. National Team members Kevin Bickner(formerly from Wauconda), Michael Glasder(Cary), Casey Larson (Barrington) , A.J. Brown(Fox River Grove) and Cara Larson(Barrington) - all from Norge Ski Club - will be competing next week on Sunday, at the Olympic Ski Jumping Trials in Park City, Utah.

All five athletes grew up skiing and honing their skills at Norge Ski Club. NBC will be televising the event live on Sunday, December 31st. It is quite likely that three of the five will earn the opportunity as first-time Olympians to represent the U.S.A. this February in PyeongChang, Korea.
