Traffic Crash, Downed Wires on Walkup Avenue

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- Authorites are asking drivers to avoid Walkup Avenue between Veterans Acres Park and Burning Bush Trail. The Crystal Lake fire and police departments have responded to that area for a traffic crash, according to a Facebook post from the police department. There are also downed wires in the area.

Those living in the area may experience power outages, police said.

Utility companies have been notified but it's unclear at this point how long it will take to make the repairs.
