Tree of Life Cookie Walk is Back.
The Tree of Life UU Congregation in McHenry is bringing back its famous Holiday Cookie Walk.
The Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist congregation, 4603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, is holding a Cookie Walk & Holiday Decoration Sale on Saturday, December 14 from 9 am to 2 pm. Mrs Clause will welcome shoppers all day and live music will be featured from 1 to 2 pm.
This fundraiser will offer homemade holiday cookies and candy, as well aa a holiday decoration sale of gently-used items. Shoppers can take a break for refreshments a a holiday Coffee & Cookie Cafe.
"Our cookies can be a delicious addition to your holiday table, or a wonderful gift for neighbors, friends, and co-workers. AA box of special cookies is also a perfect hostess gift," said Ivy Sitkoski, event chair.

Ten percent of the event proceeds will benefit Compassion for Campers, a Tree of Life ministry providing gear and supplies to the unhoused population of McHenry County. Compassion for Campers distributes gear on the first and third Fridays of each month at the Community Resource Day at Willow Crystal Lake, 100 S. Main where a variety of support services and resources are available.
