Tree of Life UU Collection Benefited CASA of McHenry County

Holly Glover representing CASA of McHenry County (left) accepted the symbolic big check after services on May 12 at the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry. The actual the congregation’s monthly Second Sunday Collection was $574 not the amount pictured. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of McHenry County gives abused and neglected children in the community who are placed into temporary foster care a voice and advocate in court so they can grow up in safe, permanent homes where they can thrive. CASA volunteers make a life-long difference for children, one child at a time.
