Twenty-four members and friends of the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry joined the Women's March on Chicago.

Twenty-four members and friends of the Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry took a school bus to the Women’s March on Chicago on Saturday, January 21. Hundreds of McHenry County women rode in the four bus caravan, took the train, or drove into the city. Marching from the bus to the rallying point in Grant Park the group was led by a Standing on the Side of Love banner carried by Patrick Murfin, Devin Anderson, and Judy Stettner, co-chair of the Tree of Life Social Justice Team. An estimated 275,000 people participated in the peaceful Chicago march and more than 2 ½ million participated in scores of marches all across the United States and around the world.
