Trick-or-Treat Hours Set for Crystal Lake, Cary
Trick-or-treating in both Crystal Lake and Cary will be held on Oct. 31.

It’s almost that time of year again.
Halloween is right around the corner and the Crystal Lake has set this years recommended hours for trick-or-treating for 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.
In addition, participating downtown Crystal Lake businesses will be handing out treats to children 12 years old and younger between 3 and 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.

In Cary, trick-or-treating will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. Cary and Fox River Grove will host a Halloween Walk this year on Oct. 24. To view the Halloween Walk route, visit the Cary Grove Chamber of Commerce website.

- Have a parent or responsible adult go trick-or-treating with you.
- Trick-or-treat in groups in your own neighborhood or an area that is familiar to you.
- Wear a costume that makes it easy for you to walk, see and be seen.
- Wait until you get home to eat your treats. Have a parent or responsible adult check them first and throw away candy or food that is not wrapped or looks like it may have been tampered with.
