Trump-Themed Shop Closes Crystal Lake Location
The store recently moved to a new location on South Virginia Road, but the owner says business has slowed dramatically.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A Trump-themed retail store in Crystal Lake has temporarily closed after the owner said sales slowed significantly following the start of the war with Iran.
The shop, which recently relocated to 829 S. Virginia Road after leaving a previous location in Huntley, had been seeing very little customer traffic since opening, according to Shaw Local. The owner said the business was “not even making half” of the monthly rent and was seeing only a few cars a day.
The store is now on hiatus as the owner reassesses whether the new location can succeed, according to the article.
