Tuesday Morning Closing McHenry Co. Location
The store in Fox River Grove will soon shut its doors.

FOX RIVER GROVE, IL — After nearly 50 years in business, national home goods discount retailer Tuesday Morning will soon shutter all its stores, including the Fox River Grove location at 900 Route 22 in Fox River Grove.
Going out of business sales are already underway at all locations, but the last day the store will be open is not clear. The Fox River Grove store is just one of two remaining in Illinois, after the chain closed stores in Downers Grove, Naperville, and Wheaton in 2020.
"... we have begun the process of closing all our stores," the retailer announced on social media Saturday. "... Thank you for 49 years of loyalty and support."

The Texas-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, and also voluntarily delisted from the Nasdaq in December 2022. The store will honor gift cards or merchandise return cards until Saturday, May 13. Anything purchased before April 28 can still be returned within 14 days with the original receipt.
The chain's website also advertised "everything must go" sales with markdowns up to 30 percent off. The retailer has stores in 25 states, and all will close.
