Turkey Testicle Festival Returns: The Food, Bands and More

The popular Turkey Testicle Festival will return Wednesday to Parkside Pub in Huntley.

Expect crowds as first-timers, and Turkey Testicle Festival veterans, visit the local bar to get a taste of the deep-fried “turkey nuts.” Last year, Parkside sold 1,200 pounds of turkey testicles, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. and continue through midnight at Parkside Pub, 11721 E. Main St. in Huntley. The festival is held in an outdoor tent, so dress accordingly.

The band line-up will include: Suburban Cowboys at 1 p.m.; Modern Day Romeos at 4 p.m.; Wish List at 7 p.m.; and Too White Crew at 9:30 p.m.

Parkside Pub will be serving up its famous turkey testicles for $5 an order. Also on this year’s menu are beef sandwiches, sausage sandwiches and pizza by the slice.
