CRYSTAL LAKE, IL —The show will go on at Judith Svalander School of Ballet in Crystal Lake after a car crashed through the walls of the downtown business on Monday. The school announced on its Facebook page Monday evening that classes will continue following the hit and run, which left the school damaged but would not prevent the school from staying open.

The front of the building at 83 E. Woodstock Street in Crystal Lake was struck by a vehicle at some point overnight from Sunday to Monday, according to the Facebook post.

"It appears the vehicle jumped the curb onto the sidewalk and collided with the façade under our front windows," according to the Facebook post. "Luckily, it doesn't sound like anybody was injured."
