Vehicles, Participants Sought For Main Beach Truck Or Treat
The Crystal Lake Park District is looking for local businesses or organizations interested in participating in the fun, Halloween event.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- The Crystal Lake Park District will host its annual Truck or Treat at Crystal Lake Main Beach on Saturday, Oct. 27. Park District officials are looking to local businesses or organizations interested in displaying their vehicles and handing out candy or prizes to children to join in the fun. Truck or Treat will run from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 27 and is free and open to all children and families.
Children dressed in Halloween costumes will have the opportunity to trick or treat for candy and prizes from truck to truck at the event and take pictures at Halloween displays. The event will also feature Monster Bash Games brought to you by Buffalo Wild Wings.
Vehicles on display may include, but are not limited to, large trucks, tractors or any other type of vehicle or piece of equipment suitable for display. Park District officials said it is an added bonus if the vehicle or equipment is available for the children to sit in, according to a news release.

All vehicles and equipment need to be at Main Beach for set-up between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 27. There is no fee to participate, but businesses will need to bring their own candy or prizes to hand out.
