Veterans Day Ceremony At MCC To Honor Vets
They will provide refreshments at the event, which is free and open to the public.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL ā McHenry County College is hosting a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, Nov. 10, which will feature live music, a military color guard presentation and several speakers.
The Northwest Herald reported that the event will start at 9 a.m. in the MCC gym in building A. It is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
Capt. Michael Czarnik, of Woodstock, will be the keynote speaker, the Herald reported. He's a chief of staff for the Navy Reserve.

āBy serving my country over the last 28 years, I have been blessed to serve the people of all races, all religions, all political parties, all ages, all opinions, all incomes and genders,ā he said. āOur Constitution is what makes this possible, and there is none other like it in the world.ā
Don Curfman, of the Student Veterans Association at MCC, said the SVA's purpose is to welcome veterans form service into school. The event is a part of MCC's efforts to honor the country's veterans, the Herald reported.
