VIDEO: Cary Business Spotlight: MVP Sports Academy

Summer baseball and softball seasons are underway, the MVP Sports Academy is place to brush up your skills, learn new ones and just have fun.

Good Morning Cary, Welcome to another edition of the Cary Business Spotlight, this week we talk to Paul Weathersby, Manager of the MVP Sports Academy.

It’s a woman owned business. She decided that’s what she’d like to do. So here we are.

The MVP Sports Academy is a place for kids, adults and baseball and softball teams to come.

The batting cages, the battle machines as I say, are token operated. Tokens are a buck and a quarter each, which is on the cheaper side for the area and each one is about 20 pitches.

If you need a break from the battle cages, MVP has some arcade games to fill the time.

The arcade games and the little toys there usually attracts some of the younger brothers and sisters, or sometimes the older brother and sisters and the dads you know, ‘Ok, you got a lesson going on back here, so I’ll come play this,' little bit of an alternative distraction.

In Cary, I’m Quincy Hodges.
