Village Invites Residents To Participate In Park Clean-Up
Volunteers of all ages are invited to help remove debris from local parks from April 24 to 26.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The village of Lake in the Hills is encouraging neighbors, scout groups, and volunteers of all ages to join its “Every Day Is Earth Day Clean Up” event over the weekend of April 24 to 26.
Volunteers can select a time that works best for their group to help remove natural and man-made debris from local parks, according to the village. The village’s parks and recreation department will identify the parks most in need, ensuring volunteer efforts make the greatest impact.
Group leaders can pick up supplies from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday at village hall, 600 Harvest Gate. Residents with questions can contact recreation supervisor Casie Peltz at cpeltz@lith.org.l.
