Water Main Break Closes Portion of East Terra Cotta Ave.
The westbound lane of East Terra Cotta Avenue between Lorraine Drive and Park Boulevard in Crystal Lake has been closed.
A water main break Tuesday morning has closed the westbound lane of East Terra Cotta Avenue between Lorraine Drive and Park Boulevard in Crystal Lake, city officials said.
Flaggers will be directing traffic in both directions in the eastbound lane, according to a news release. Repairs were scheduled to begin this morning at about 11 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and traffic delays are expected.
Normal traffic is expected to resume by 6 p.m. Tuesday.
