2 Darien Women Charged In Domestics
Police also handled cases involving burglary, theft and disorderly conduct.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- Zanayha Mitchell, 19, of Darien, was arrested about midnight Dec. 26 in the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive on charges of domestic battery and battery causing bodily harm. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Ashlee Humphreys, 18, of Darien, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. New Year's Eve in the 6900 block of Eleanor Place on a charge of domestic battery. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Burglary

- A Dewalt coring machine motor and a diamond drill bit on a mounting stand were stolen from a garage between 4 p.m. Dec. 27 and 1 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 2400 block of Greenbriar Lane. The loss was estimated at $1,000.
Theft
- A catalytic converter was stolen between 10 p.m. Dec. 25 and noon Dec. 26 at WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road. The loss was estimated at $300.
Disorderly conduct

- Judith Wannos, 70, of Darien, was cited about 2 p.m. Wednesday at WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road, on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Porch piracy
- Packages delivered to a front porch were stolen between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the apartment complex at 1118 Plainfield Road. The loss was estimated at $140.
