Darien, Illinois (July 21, 2014) – The Darien Chamber of Commerce to Host Battle of the Bands on September 7th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.

The Darien Chamber of Commerce will host its 27th annual Darien Fest. On Sunday, September 7th the chamber is introducing its 3rd annual Battle of the Bands. The family event will take place on the main stage at the Darien Community Park located at Plainfield and Clarendon Hills Roads. Bring family and friends to this fun live musical event and help us support our local musicians!

Battle of the Bands will begin at 3 p.m. at the Main Stage. Competition is for band participants between the ages of 12-28 with 3-8 band members. Registration fee of $25.00.
Register on-line by July 31st at www.darienchamber.com.
Entry description should include two original song recordings less than 8 minutes each song, band biography, photo, main contact email address and main contact phone number.
Email your entry description to info@darienchamber.com or drop off your entry at Darien Chamber of Commerce located at 1702 Plainfield Road in Darien
Each band will be judged on Stage Presence and Preparedness, vocal ability, musicianship, and entertainment.
No entries accepted after July 31st.
