The 49-year-old Chicago woman told officers that she was walking back to her car after delivering a package when two men approached her and demanded all her packages, the report said.

One of the men pointed a black gun at her, police said. The men were wearing face masks, so she could not tell their race, the report said.

The driver said she told the men that she did not have anything on her or in her car, saying they could check if they wanted, according to the report. They then ran north on Creekside.

She told officers her 11-year-old granddaughter was in the car at the time. Nothing was reported stolen.

Police said the woman did not report the incident for more than two hours. Asked why, she said she was scared and wanted to leave the area. She said Amazon advised her to call the police.

Police interviewed the resident at the home where the package was delivered. His doorbell camera did not show the incident, police said. No other footage could be found.

The incident happened about an hour earlier than another reported armed robbery in Darien, but police do not believe they are related.
