Darien Garden Club Sprouts families are invited to gather outdoors on September 23 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the “Sprouts Learning Garden” at St. John Lutheran Church (7214 Cass Avenue, Darien, Il. 60561) for hands-on lessons on vegetable harvesting! After tending the garden all summer, it’s now time to gather, weigh, and divvy-up the harvest! Then, continue to join us from 6:00pm – 7:00pm for our “Garden Potluck Party.” Bring a dish to share that highlights your favorite fruits or vegetables and a copy of your recipe. Also, be ready to share a fun fact about your favorite plant or animal. Don’t miss out on the good vibes and great company — we can’t wait to see you there!
Note: In case of inclement weather, event will be moved to St. John's basement meeting room (enter using door 3).
All are welcome to attend. A responsible adult must accompany children.
