Oct 18th at 2:00 pm: Join us as we welcome Heather Prince, of Fearless Gardening who will discuss the history of oaks. From pre-settlement of this area to today, we will discover the many ways humans, birds, animals and insects have used oaks and treasured these magnificent trees. We will examine where these trees are typically found in nature, their myriad uses over the centuries, folklore and stories, plus faunal partnerships. Don't miss this enjoyable program.
