With his first term focusing on transparency and reform, Cronin faces a possible utility tax to help fix DuPage’s flooding problem. Property owners with more storm water runoff leaving their land would pay a higher fee than those with less, the paper said.
Cronin hasn’t committed to a possible utility as a possibly solution for fixing the flooding, but said it was up for discussion. He would also continue his work on reform and consolidating county government.
