'Dangerous' Drug Warrant, DUI: Darien Cops
Officers responding to a crash arrested a man with two warrants, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
- A 55-year-old Romeoville man was arrested about 4 p.m. Thursday at Cass Avenue and Iroquois Street on two warrants for failing to appear in court. A DuPage County warrant involved "dangerous" drugs and a Will County warrant was for violating the terms of release, police said. Officers came into contact with the man while responding to a crash. The man was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 33-year-old Alsip man was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Sunday near 75th and Williams streets on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured car, improper lighting, transportation or possession of open alcohol, and improper lane usage. Police said the man crossed over the lane boundary lines. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 40-year-old Frankfort man was arrested about 7 a.m. Monday at Lemont Road and 97th Street on a Will County warrant charging failure to appear in court. Police said the man was on a motorcycle that contained an expired registration sticker. He was cited on charges of no insurance and suspended registration. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail, awaiting transfer to the Will County Jail.
