Darien Garden Club Holds Spring Gardening Event

Guests can also learn about composting, soil, vegetables, natives, pollinators and more.

DARIEN, IL — The Darien Garden Club will hold a "Spring Gardening Inspiration" event on March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chuck's Southern Comforts in Darien. The event will feature an address by Abigail Derby Lewis of the Field Museum, titled "What You Plant Matters: the collective impact of urban habitat on people and nature."

According to the city newsletter, guests can also learn about composting, soil, vegetables, natives, pollinators and more. There will also be exhibits, raffles and a "farm to table" luncheon.
