Darien Man Charged With Domestic Battery: Cops

In another case, a local man was arrested on a warrant at Walmart, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • Carl Powers, 36, of Darien, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 7600 block of Warwick Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Warrant

  • Tomas Maslauskas, 27, of Darien, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. April 17 at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Broken window

  • The rear left passenger window of a car was broken between March 31 and April 21 at a house in the 700 block of Andermann Lane. The damage was estimated at $600.

  • David Guadarrama, 36, of Cicero, was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday on 75th Street on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, transportation or possession of open alcohol, and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police said an officer saw Guadarrama nearly sideswipe another car. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Savanna Roberts, 26, of Joliet, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the 7400 block of Lemont Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and driving without a license plate light. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
