Darien Store Still Closed Because Of Power Outage
Only a tiny fraction of ComEd customers are still affected.
DARIEN, IL – The effects from Monday's storm continue, and a major Darien store is an example.
Jewel at 7329 Cass Ave. has been closed because the storm knocked out its power. According to ComEd's outage map, Jewel is one of fewer than five customers in the immediate area without power as of late Thursday morning.
On Monday, power outages occurred around the Chicago area, affecting hundreds of thousands of customers.
