Darien Woman Charged In 2nd Domestic: Records

DARIEN, IL – A Darien woman was charged last weekend on a charge of domestic battery, her second such arrest, according to public records.

Carolynn Powers, 40, was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday in the 8400 block of Sandalwood Court, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

In 2019, Darien police charged Powers with domestic battery, according to court records. DuPage County prosecutors later dropped the case, saying they had no complaining witness.
