Darien Woman Cited In Dog Bite Case: Cops

Dog bit a child in a local neighborhood, police say.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Dog bite

  • An officer was called at 6:30 p.m. July 21 to the 6700 block of High Road for a dog bite. The officer was told that the neighbor's dog bit a child. Tara Ridgeway, 45, of Darien, was cited on a charge of having a dog at large.

  • Cristian Perez, 25, of Westmont, was cited about 3 p.m. July 19 on charges of possession of fireworks, improper window tinting and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. He was cited after an officer on surveillance for suspicious activity on Wildwood Court saw Perez's car with the dark tinted windows leaving the area. Perez was released and given a date to appear in court.

DUI

  • Victor Rodriguez Lagunes, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI (two counts) and improper lane usage. An officer saw Lagunes' car abruptly change lanes and veer to the right, going over a curb. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • Deontae Dunnigan, 24, of Chicago, was cited about 11 p.m. July 19 on Lemont Road on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was clocked speeding 65 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Raven Roberts, 28, of Westmont, was cited about 3:30 a.m. Friday on Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and speeding. She was clocked speeding 75 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
