DUI, Obstructing ID: Darien Cops

A suspect gave officers a false name when he was stopped, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Obstructing identification

  • Jaquon Burns, 24, of Glenwood, was arrested about noon Sunday near 75th Street and Route 83 on charges of obstructing identification, driving with a revoked license and driving with an expired registration. Police said Burns gave a false name. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • Chaudhari Rutvikkumar, 22, of Woodridge, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 30 near Abbey and Wakefield drives on charges of DUI and possession of alcohol by a driver. Police said they were called about an occupied car that was parked on the street for three hours. Rutvikkhumar was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrants

  • Mario Nolfi, 48, of Darien, was arrested about 11 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 7300 block of Cass Avenue on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court. He was cited on charges of improper lane usage and driving an uninsured vehicle. Police said he drove into the wrong lane to cut across a parking lot. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Marquis Wilson, 24, of Bridgeview, was arrested about 11 a.m. Friday on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court involving a trespassing case. He turned himself in at the Darien police station. Wilson was released and given a date to appear in court.
