
The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
July 11
- A male suspect was seen leaving Walmart, 2189 75th St., at 1:25 p.m. with two unpaid computers. The total loss was $1,358.
- A male suspect was seen at 8:05 p.m. taking a leaf blower from a landscaping trailer on a driveway in the 500 block of Maple Lane. The suspect left in a small blue car. The approximate loss is $450.
July 12

- Michael Cerda, 39, of Glendale Heights, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. at 75th Street and Plainfield Road for DUI-drugs, improper lane use, illegal use of phone and expired driver's license. Cerda was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 16 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- John Ortiz, 21, of Joliet, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. at Clarendon Hills and Plainfield roads for driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle while using cell phone and failure to wear seat belt. Ortiz was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 9 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
July 13
- Robert Davis Jr. was arrested at 4:09 a.m. in the 7500 block of Lemont Road for driving while license suspended and a failure to appear warrant for DUI. Davis was processed with a court date of Aug. 14 at DuPage County Judicial Center than transported to DuPage County Jail for the warrant.
- Genrone Leflore, 41, of Willowbrook, was arrested at 3:46 p.m. at Cass Avenue and I-55 for speeding, driving while license suspended and operating uninsured motor vehicle. Leflore was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 23 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
July 14

- Amy Hickenlooper, 22, of the 6900 block of Clarendon Hills Road, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. at Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road for two counts of DUI-alcohol, improper lane use and failure to signal. Hickenlooper was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 14 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- Willie English, 54, of Woodridge, was arrested at 3:47 a.m. in the 8300 block of Lemont Road for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use. English was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 14 at
DuPage County Judicial Center. - Calvin Riley, 28, of Westmont, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. at Cass and Plainfield Road for driving while license suspended and suspended registration for an insurance violation. Riley was processed, released and advised a court date at Downers Grove Traffic Court would be mailed to him.
July 15
- Kyle Davis, 26, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. in the 8000 block of Lemont Road for two counts of DUI and speeding. Davis was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 14 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
- Ashley Roth, 26, of Hickory Hills, was arrested at 4 a.m. at Lemont Road and 83rd Street for driving while license suspended and expired plates. Roth was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 9 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
- Jose Diaz-Contreras, 44, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:24 a.m. at Cass and Concord Place for two counts of DUI, no valid insurance, no valid driver's license, speeding and improper lane use. Diaz-Contreras was processed and released with a court date of Aug. 14 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
July 16
- Kevin Hubbard, 54, of Downers Grove, was arrested at 8:06 a.m. in the 900 block of 75th Street for a Kendall County Traffic Warrant for failure to appear. Hubbard was issued a court date of Aug. 3 at Kendall County Court House. Hubbard was given two citations one for driving while license revoked the other for uninsured vehicle and was released.
July 18
- Matthew McCarthy, 35, of Chicago Ridge, was arrested at 12:42 p.m. on Lemont Road for driving while license revoked and registration suspended for non-insurance. McCarthy was released with a court date of Aug. 9 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
