Informational Meeting on 75th Street Widening Project

The DuPage County Division of Transportation will host a Public Informational Meeting concerning improvements being proposed on 75th Street from Adams Street to Plainfield Road within the City of Darien, Illinois.  The improvements being proposed include reconstructing and widening 75^th Street between Adams Street and Plainfield Road to provide an additional through lane in each direction separated by a landscaped barrier median.  Work will also include storm sewer installation, traffic signal modernization, the addition of right turn lanes at the Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road intersections with 75^th Street and provision of a barrier median on Cass Avenue between 75^th Street and Plainfield Road.   Proposed right of way acquisition and/or temporary construction easements will be required at some locations within the project limits.       

All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting.  County representatives will be available to answer questions.  Exhibits depicting the proposed improvements will be available for public review.
