Felony Retail Theft, Damage: Darien Cops

A Willowbrook woman was taken to the county jail in a retail theft case, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Retail theft

  • Diamonds McWane, 29, of Willowbrook, was cited about 5 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of felony retail theft and a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court. Police said she was seen under-scanning items in the self-checkout aisle. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Natasha Curry, 38, of Westmont, was cited about 10 p.m. Dec. 1 at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said she was seen under-scanning items at the self-checkout aisle. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Damage

  • A mailbox was damaged between 4 p.m. Nov. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 30 in the 2900 block of Beller Drive. The damage was estimated at $148.

Warrant

  • Celia West, 32, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Kingery Highway on a McHenry County traffic warrant. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
