Ward 2's Vaughan is a graduate of Oral Roberts University. His LinkedIn page says he is the director of business development for CompuSystems.
Opponent Stompanato's LinkedIn page says he is a retired operations manager for Adtalem Global Education.
Ward 4's Chlystek is an engineer. In the political arena, he ran unsuccessfully as a Democrat for Downers Grove Township road commissioner in 2021. Patch is seeking information about his opponent, Leganski.
Ward 6's Gustafson has lived in Darien since 1982 and is a certified public accountant.
Gustafson publicly opposed a nearly 20 percent property tax increase in Center Cass School District 66. It passed by a small margin in November.
His position angered tax hike supporters, who promised to put up a candidate against him in April. It is not entirely clear whether Lazich is that candidate, but Patch found a connection between her and other tax increase supporters.
Lazich's LinkedIn page lists her as the marketing director for Behavioral Perspectives Inc.
Lazich has not returned messages for comment.
