Free Child Safety Seat Inspection and Kids I.D. Card Processing July 18
The Illinois Tollway and Illinois State Police District 15 are hosting a free K.I.S.S. event on Friday, July 18 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Walgreens located at 1000 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove (intersection of Ogden Avenue and Main Street).Complimentary child safety seat inspections will take place in the store parking lot and kids I.D. cards will be processed inside the store for children ages 3 and up. Giveaway items and complimentary refreshments will also be available.
To participate, parents, grandparents and caregivers shoulld bring child safety seats, the children who will be using them, and the vehicle in which the seats are to be installed.
