Man Arrested In Darien Restaurant Dispute: Cops

In other cases, two men were arrested on charges of aggravated use of a weapon, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • Officers responded to a customer dispute about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at The Patio, 7440 Route 83. Sameer Keko, 46, of Bolingbrook, was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Weapons charges

  • Orlando Thompson, 35, of Cincinnati, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Cass Avenue and Interstate 55 on charges of felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and no valid registration. Police said they found a gun under the driver's seat. Thompson was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Avieon Gilbert, 20, of Westmont, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. April 11 in the 7400 block of Park Avenue on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was stopped for speeding 50 mph in a 25 mph zone. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

  • Cabral Johnson, 22, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 3 a.m. April 12 in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane usage. He was speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Obstructing identification

  • Quentin Robinson, 39, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Belair Drive on a charge of obstructing identification and on two DuPage County warrants charging failure to appear in court and a Will County warrant charging DUI. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
