Masked Men Steal Liquor At Darien Store: Cops

In another case, a woman hits a car and gas station equipment before being arrested, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Retail theft

  • Three masked men entered Darien Liquor, 8125 Cass Ave., and stole bottles of liquor about 9:30 p.m. June 12. The loss was estimated at $3,000.
  • Marvin Ezell, 37, of Woodridge, and Constence Greenwood, 36, of Bolingbrook, were arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on charges of retail theft. They stole merchandise and then left in a black BMW, police said. They were released and given a date to appear in court.

DUI

  • Tania Rodriguez, 39, of Northlake, was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Circle K, 8975 Lemont Road, on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, improper lane usage and damage to property. Police said she damaged an Opticon sensor, a Darien street sign, a vacuum belonging to Circle K, and a parked car. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrants

  • Kyle Wunderlich, 27, of Chicago, was arrested about 11 p.m. June 13 on DuPage County and Darien warrants charging failure to appear in court. He turned himself in at the Darien police station. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Lindsay Juarez, 29, of Chicago, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. June 14 near Lemont Road and Beller Drive on a DuPage County traffic warrant charging failure to appear in court. She was issued a warning for speeding 60 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 8000 block of Lemont Road. Her passenger, Alejandro Escareno, 37, of Joliet, was arrested on a Will County warrant.
