Pet Parade Hosted At DarienFest

DARIEN, IL — As part of the 30th annual DarienFest, the Pet Parade will also take place for the fifth year. According the city newsletter, the parade will be held Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 best-dressed dogs.

You can pre-register online for a Free Doggie Bag at Check-In. Professionals will be on hand to answer your questions for training, grooming, dog walking and boarding, according to the newsletter. Dogs will be judged during registration and should be dressed and ready when you arrive.

The Pet Parade is just one part of DarienFest, which is held Sept. 9 and 10 at Darien Community Park. The full schedule of events includes music, food, Darien's Got Talent and more.
