Three Woodridge men were charged in Walmart incident, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Juan Alcantara Ruiz, 23; Luis Alcantara Ruiz, 22; and Diego Velazquez, 25, all of Woodridge, were cited about 5:30 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on charges of retail theft. Police said they failed to scan multiple items in the self-checkout aisle. They were released and given dates to appear in court.
  • Gerard Williams, 49, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday on southbound Interstate 55 at County Line Road on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. A caller told a dispatcher about Williams' driving near 87th Street and Lemont Road. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Hector Miguel Leon-Lopez, 38, of Joliet, was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. He was seen driving erratically on Lemont Road, swerving to the left and driving on the median, almost striking a traffic sign, police said. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
